The Autumn visit for the Maple Society will take place in Norfolk, the first time we have officially visited the region.
The weekend begins with a guided tour of the Forestry Commission's Lynford Arboretum. The afternoon will be spent visiting the Clermont Arboretum, east of Thetford, then possibly our Treasurer, Len Speller's garden and Maple collection in Wymondham. On Sunday 10th October we visit the Bressingham Garden Centre and Dell Gardens, near Diss, in the morning and Foggy Bottom in the afternoon. There is an admission fee of £5 for the Clermont Arboretum and also for the Bressingham Gardens.

The A.G.M. will take place on Sunday 10 October between garden visits. Everyone is encouraged to attend the AGM as well as the garden visits. A silent auction will held after the AGM to raise funds for the society. If you have anything you are willing to donate to the silent auction please bring it along on the day. Contributions in the past have included trees, other plants, books, pictures, cakes and more.
